FOSTER CONNECTIONS

PROMOTE BIODIVERSITY

EDUCATE
Our guests have a chance to act for local nature, support biodiversity and leave behind a richer environment for the local community
Since heavy forestry and land use make it hard for birds to find safe nesting spots, building birdhouses is a simple but vital way to help. Together with our guests, we build and hang birdhouses in the local forests, and perform regular cleaning and maintenance to keep them safe.
Building birdhouses supports birds that are specialized in cavity nesting like tits, owls, flycatchers, treecreepers, sparrows, kestrels and ducks.
We create experiences that inspire travellers to join nature conservation
The efforts of our guests are showing good results - birds are accepting the houses and nesting successfully!
To share the results of this nature conservation project we created The Birdhouse Map. On the map our guests can follow the life of their birdhouse and find updated information about the nestings and other interesting events.
Are you a traveller interested in nature conservation? Or an organisation specialized in nature conservation projects?
